Health Resources

The Black community disproportionately suffers from numerous health disparities, and Black San Diegans are no different. In March when the pandemic came upon the Southeastern community in San Diego, BAPAC SD began convening weekly Zoom meetings and to create efforts to coordinate food distribution, securing funding and infrastructure with community partners.

As the pandemic continued to impact the community, BAPAC continue to ground it's efforts in science and data. We expanded to protective gear, messaging, distance learning, device distribution, mental health, testing and tracing, and now economic recovery. Thanks to partners from across a spectrum, we are able to collaborate and inform, ensuring residents needs are meet. BAPAC SD is committed to the health and wellness of the population.
